The Triangular Felting Needle is the most versatile and widely used needle type in nonwoven needle punching processes. Engineered with a precision isosceles triangular cross-section, it delivers unmatched strength and consistent performance from every angle of penetration. Our needles are manufactured from high-quality high-carbon steel and finished with a bright nickel plating for extended service life and reliable operation in demanding conditions.
In mechanical bonding for nonwoven production, fibers are entangled and reinforced by barbed needles punching through the web. Our triangular needles are mounted in the needle board of the needle loom. As the board descends, thousands of these needles penetrate the fiber mat, the barbs catching and interlocking the fibers to create a strong, cohesive fabric.
Primary Applications Include:Â Geotextiles, filter fabrics (filter bags), synthetic leather, automotive interiors, carpet backing, insulation materials, and various technical textiles requiring specific surface characteristics.
